LAUNCH YOUR CAREER IN MEDICAL IMAGING
ImagingWorks will prepare you with the fundamental knowledge to work in the rapidly growing and rewarding healthcare industry with online learning alongside a full-time paid clinical placement. In fact, many program graduates move on to more advanced training and significant careers in medical diagnostic imaging.
Students earn $21/hr. for this 11-week on-the-job training program based at medical imaging clinics across Southern California.

HEALTHCARE FUNDAMENTALS
- Core medical practice knowledge, including anatomy, terminology, and insurance
- How to recognize and successfully support patient needs
- Patient information systems training, including scheduling and billing
- MR safety training, including patient care and positioning
- Preparation to take the California State Certification Exam to work as a DEXA (bone density scanning) technician.

- Must be 18 or older
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Must be fluent in English
- Valid California driver’s license or state ID
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have 6 months of work experience
- Acceptance conditioned upon passing a criminal background check
